Things to
Do:
Every Sunday morning starting at 9 a.m. you can enjoy the Farmers
Market in Musquodoboit Harbour, 5 min. away.
There are Antique shops, gift shops located
throughout the Eastern Shore as well as Chinese Food
Restaurant, Harbour Fries Fish & Chips, The Bear Den Café, a
wonderful bakery, and other eating establishments.
Just min. to Grocery store, liquor store and
Pub just 5 min. away.
Beaches:
Martinique Beach, located at the end of East Petpeswick Rd.
is one of my favorites for walking the dogs or picking up
shells and sand dollars. One of the largest sandy beaches in
Nova Scotia with changing rooms and bathrooms. Surfing
equipment rental available on the East Petpeswick Rd. at
“Happy Dudes Surf Shop”
Clam Harbour Beach, further East (approx. 15
min.) is another stunning sandy beach which houses the annual
Sand Castle Building Contests every summer bringing thousands
of people to either take part or just enjoy this event.
Lawrencetown Beach, closer to the city on Hwy
207 off of the Hwy 7, is a beautiful beach with boardwalks,
very popular for surfers as it is known for having big waves.
You will find Surfing equipment for rent along the Hwy 207
approaching the beach.
Golfing
Harbour Ridge Golf Course is a 9 hole course overlooking the
ocean approx. 10 min. drive located on the East Petpeswick Rd.
River Oaks Golf Course is located on the
Meaghers Grant Rd. It has an 18 hole and 9 hole course.
Halifax/Dartmouth Night
Life
Only 45 min. to Dartmouth/Halifax you can enjoy our
fantastic night life with abundance of pubs, East Coast Music,
Festivals and fantastic restaurants, or just walk along the
Halifax Boardwalks and watch the boats come and go. See

For those that like to
walk/hike, the Canada trail is approx. 5 min. drive
located right in Musquodoboit Harbour.
